My role as an Environment artist on The Old Republic is to build worlds. For these areas, this consisted of: worldbuilding, set-dressing, terrain sculpting and vertex painting, terrain painting (including rocks) lighting, VFX placement, level polish and optimization. Part of this level was to create alternate versions of the ruins or new structures, including the giant temple near the end
In additional to these responsibilities, I was also the main point of contact and associate outsource supervisor for all of the ruins assets. This consisted of uploading packages, providing feedback both in writing and with paintovers and callouts, and integrating the assets into game as well as any final polish or adjustments that were needed.
